New SM Mall

Today we went to Cagayan de Oro to buy stuff. Also, to visit the new mall SM CDO Downtown Premier.

It's just like any mall, but cleaner because it's new. It's not quite complete yet. It feels smaller than Ayala Centrio right now. There's nothing particularly striking about it, to be honest. It just feels like a regular mall. I like the mirrors in the ceiling of one section in the Department Store.

It's fascinating to see people lining up in front of Burger King because, and I'm not sure, it's probably the first Burger King installment in the city. We tried to join the band wagon but decided it's not worth it. So we went to Centrio instead, where we ate lunch at the Chicken Bon Chon.

Why blog

Blog because I'm 30 years old this year. Turning 31 next month. And I read in an online article that thirty year olds might find it useful to start blogging.

Five years from now, if this online journal is still alive, I will have a blast reading through my previous posts. A trip down memory lane, as they put it.
